I am a member of the Texas Counseling Association. In addition to my formal education, I have gained experience through my professional and advocacy work. I served as a caseworker, supporting indigent individuals in Collin County, providing assistance in meeting client needs, connecting them with local support services, and offering counseling. I have led intensive outpatient groups for people dealing with substance addiction and co-parenting groups for families going through separation and divorce. I am involved in advocacy efforts on behalf of marginalized individuals, working to build relationships between communities and to promote equity. Earlier in my career, I worked as a classroom teacher and as a school counselor in Dallas area public schools. I am a Texas native and live in Dallas county with my husband. We have two children, both in college. Outside of work, I'm a bit of a homebody. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being outside, music, movies, and reading.
